Capabilities

Global Xploration does not offer public contracting services. We engage exclusively with a limited number of private partners, chosen for shared standards, demonstrated credibility, and long-term alignment with our objectives, and every relationship is governed by formal agreement.

This approach is intentional. Sensitive locations, proprietary technology, complex permitting, and historically significant material all demand discretion and trust. By limiting our partnerships, we give each one the attention and leadership involvement it requires. We look for partners who respect the laws surrounding underwater heritage and natural resources, approach risk realistically, and value careful documentation as much as discovery.

This page outlines the capabilities we bring to those partnerships and how they are established.

Historical Research & Site Assessment

Every project starts long before anyone enters the water. We research archival records, ship manifests, historical accounts, and prior survey data to identify credible targets and narrow search areas. Each potential site is then assessed for its historical significance, depth and conditions, legal status, and the feasibility of the work.

Recovery & Documentation

When recovery is authorized, we carry it out with an emphasis on care and record-keeping. Material is documented in place, recovered using methods suited to its condition, and catalogued so that its context is preserved. Conservation is coordinated with qualified specialists, and final disposition follows the terms of the governing permit or agreement.

Collections Management

The company manages a substantial collection of historical material, including coins, cannons, arms, and ceramics from around the world. That experience informs how we approach documentation, stabilization, storage, and long-term stewardship of recovered artifacts.

Search & Survey

We plan and direct marine search operations designed around the specific site and objective. Depending on the project, this can include remote sensing, diver-based search, and underwater vehicle operations, with equipment and specialists selected for the depth, visibility, and seabed conditions involved.

Subsea Mineral Exploration

Our mineral work focuses on early-stage exploration and evaluation: sampling, testing, and assessing whether a seabed resource is technically, environmentally, and economically viable. Any progression beyond exploration depends on approval from the host nation and relevant authorities.

Subsea Engineering & Technology Development

Global Xploration designs and develops its own equipment, including manned and unmanned subsea and surface vehicles and purpose-built recovery tools. For partners with specific technical challenges, this engineering capability can be applied to custom solutions under a confidentiality agreement.

  • Vessel operators and marine contractors looking to collaborate on joint operations

  • Investors and strategic partners aligned with long-horizon exploration and technology development

How Partnerships Work

  1. Introduction. Reach out through our partner inquiry form with a general description of your organization and objectives. Please do not include coordinates, proprietary data, or confidential details at this stage.

  2. Mutual NDA. If there is a potential fit, both parties sign a mutual non-disclosure agreement before sensitive information is shared.

  3. Feasibility review. We evaluate the historical, technical, legal, and financial aspects of the opportunity and discuss scope, roles, and expectations.

  4. Written agreement. Partnerships proceed only under a signed agreement that defines responsibilities, permits, confidentiality, and how any results or recovered material will be handled.

  5. Execution and reporting. We assemble the project team, carry out the work, and keep partners informed through clear, honest reporting.

What Partners Can Expect

  • Discretion with locations, data, and proprietary information

  • Compliance with the permits and laws of each jurisdiction

  • Documentation that preserves the historical and scientific value of the work

  • Candor about risk and uncertainty, with no promised outcomes
